What a week it has been. Some of you may have noticed that we have not been able to take any form of payment on-store since Monday evening, thanks to the new provider we told you about last week, cancelling our account because we sell vapes! (Which they knew from the get-go)
We knew we had to bite the bullet and go with the most credible, reputable, globally accepted option out there, in WorldPay. The downside was, this took a few days awaiting the appropriate checks and changing a few bits in the background of our store, to make sure it was fully compatible.
We are delighted to announce that as from 9.30am this morning, we are now back up and running with our NEW Payment Provider - World-Pay.
We've still got a few bits to add, in Apple pay & Google pay, but for now, the basic card option is available, the same as before. This also opens up USA payments, along with Mastercard and Visa payments. So USA customers, shop till you drop!
This looks to be the service we have been looking/hoping for all along, and we have been reassured that selling vapes is not an issue and neither will it become one for World-Pay! We have upgraded our account to accept International and Mastercard payments. Which once again, gives us full coverage.
Lets hope we never have the same issue, or a week like we've just had, ever again!
